Our Pearls of North Africa collection was hand-crafted by highly skilled artisans of the trade.  The material is a heavy, ceramic/cement type of material, which we chose specifically to give these pieces a bit of a rough, earthy feel, in keeping with the style of the early mosques of North Africa. To clean fine sanding is recommended by using 600 grid sanding paper.
