When sadness stole her colours, love brought them back.

Fatimah can’t wait for her grandmother, Ayeyo, to come live with them. She loves her colourful tales of Somali feasts, laughter with neighbours, and adventures from long ago.

But over time, Ayeyo’s stories fade, her plate sits full of uneaten food, and her days turn quiet.  

Determined to help, Fatimah sets out to chase away Ayeyo’s blues and, in the process, discovers the beauty of patience, empathy, and keeping family bonds strong.
